EcoHomes Excellent Rating
Westmark is commited to achieving a rating of ‘Excellent’ under the Buildings Research Establishment EcoHomes Scheme on all future projects. The EcoHomes scheme addresses the broad environmental concerns of climate change, resource use and impact on wildlife, along with the need for a high quality of life and a safe and healthy internal environment. It does this by assessing building performance against a whole range of different factors, grouped into seven main categories of :

- Transport
- Water
- Ecology and Land Use
- Pollution
- Health and Well-Being
- Materials
